Spring, it’s unpredictable to say the least…We rescheduled this session twice, and I think the saying “third times a charm” definitely applies here! I hit a photographers jackpot the other night with this stylish family of six, golden light, warm weather, green grass and four happy girls! Celebrating two years with their little firecracker, Oaklyn. I love getting back into the swing of things with these outdoor family sessions! As much as I love my studio, I definitely start to feel a little pent up by the end of a long winter. It’s so fun being in the wide-open spaces to play, interact, and capture these fleeting moments.

I truly enjoy interacting with young families such as this! During these sessions we play, a lot; dance and jump around for smiles; do lots of tickles and kisses; spin in circles; play with grass and wildlife; basically anything we can do for an authentic smile or reaction, and it shows! Can I also just say how spot on Kylie was with the outfit selection and color palette! Happy first day of fall, ya’ll!

Adorable family session this past Monday in Clintonville. Little Grayson, 6 months and Emma, 3 years were a joy to photograph and they sure do love each other!

 

Natalie {Newborn Session}

9 Days New

Meet the newest addition to the Sperberg Family, miss Natalie! The Sperberg’s old home was ideal for an in-home session, providing us with gorgeous original wood floors, wide trim and these amazing white pocket doors.

Natalie tried to challenge us a bit, not wanting to sleep for the first 2 hours of the session. But that’s expected and didn’t even begin to test our patience. This last shot in the white bucket took us 30 minutes to achieve, but so worth it!

{Children’s Session}

You can imagine my excitement when Michelle told me she would like to do a stylized vintage session with her two adorable and super photogenic children! I wanted to keep it simple with the props. Paired with Klay’s suspenders and Autumn’s lace dress, this old black trunk was the perfect fit.
